Charity Dansby is the CEO and founder of Lighthouse Charity, a nonprofit established in 2022 that nurtures the passion for performance art in children, regardless of their race or socioeconomic background. Born into a musical family as the third of five children to Wayne and Cynthia Dansby, Charity has been singing all her life. A dedicated youth mentor, she began mentoring from home in 2017. Through Lighthouse Charity, she strives to inspire and empower the next generation of artists. Charity is also a proud single mother to a wonderfully talented daughter. She believes in the power of personal transformation, embodying the mantra: "If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make that change."

I strongly believe that reading opens the door in all walks of life. I am skill in areas such as reading, tutoring and math. I have had the opportunity in serving with the STAIR Organization. This program allowed me to be involve in helping children to red. The grade levels were First and Second graders. In which I had the opportunity to sponsor one student for Christmas. My greatest joy was seeing how my experience skills and nurturing helped a child to accomplish one of life most precious curriculum is reading. Throughout my life, I was actively involved with the classes that my children attended. I was involved with the PTA, classroom Mom, tutoring, school program and reading. Also, I was involved with the Neighborhood watch in my Community. I volunteer with the Breast Cancer program and the Reading Enrichment program. I also was the financial Secretary at a Church that I attended. My life’s passion is to help children be successful in life.
